Meet Kim
Founder, Instructor & Lifelong Mover
Kim’s passion for movement began at the age of five in her first dance class — the start of a journey that has now spanned over 40 years of dancing and 25 years of teaching. Specialising in technical jazz, Kim has trained dancers of all levels, helping them discover precision, artistry, and confidence through movement.
Alongside her career in dance, Kim is a fully qualified Level 3 and Level 4 Pilates instructor, with additional specialist certifications in:
Pre- and Post-natal Exercise
Pilates for Common Orthopaedic Conditions
Pilates for Sports Performance and Older Adults
Level 4 Reformer Pilates
Tower Pilates
Her teaching philosophy is grounded in creating a safe, supportive environment where clients of all ages and abilities can move, grow, and flourish. With a unique blend of anatomical knowledge and creative intuition, Kim guides every client to feel stronger, more mobile, and more confident—both on and off the mat.

Our Instructors
Voyd
Voyd trained at The Arts Educational School in Tring. Following graduation at the age of 16 she immediately began working in London with Arlene Phillips, subsequently enjoying a long and close working relationship on many projects both as a dancer and as her assistant. In the earlier part of her career Voyd danced on innumerable music videos with such artists as; David Bowie, The Pet Shop Boys, Duran Duran, Uriah Heap, Depeche Mode, Billy Idol, Cliff Richard, Elton John, and many more. Numerous TV and Film projects include working with Ken Russel, Martin Sheen, Clark Peters, Paul McCartney, and Monty Python’s Flying Circus, as well as performing in Arlene Phillips’ iconic dance troupe Hot Gossip. Musical theatre credits include Masquerade with The Young Vic, and A Clockwork Orange with the Royal Shakespeare Company.
Voyd created the part of Volta in the original cast of Starlight Express, and working with Trevor Nunn, Andrew Lloyd Webber and Arlene Phillips, subsequently went on to play all the female leads. She also assisted in recreating the productions in Germany, Japan and Las Vegas. In film, television, theatre and corporate, Voyd has worked with choreographers including Jeff Richer, Anthony Van Laast, Flick Colby, Chrissie Cartwright, Molly Molloy and countless others. She has most recently been cast as a featured performer in the new motion picture adaptation of the hit stage musical WICKED, choreographed by Christopher Scott, and due for release November 2024. As a teacher, Voyd has guest-taught at many prestigious schools including; London Studio Centre, Bodyworks in Cambridge, Arts Ed in Tring, Elmhurst Ballet School, Pineapple Dance Studios and Danceworks in London. She has taught master classes in Europe, and at the invitation of the Brazilian government she worked with underprivileged children in Sao Paulo. For ten years Voyd was principle of Liberatus School of Performing Arts in Swindon. For two years she was also Creative Director and Head of Dance at Bodyworks School of Performing Arts in Cambridge.
Voyd is stott trained in Pilates and has over 40 years of reformer experience. We are thrilled to have Voyd joining us!
Jasmine
Jasmine is a Mat and Reformer Pilates instructor as well as a qualified physiotherapy, bringing a balanced and thoughtful approach to movement. She is passionate about helping people build strength, stability and confidence through mindful, purposeful exercise.
Her classes focus on improving mobility, posture and body awareness, supporting clients to move with greater ease both in and out of the studio. With a calm and motivating teaching style, she creates a welcoming space where everyone feels supported, challenged and empowered at their own pace.
Whether you’re new to Pilates or looking to deepen your practice, Jasmine aims to help you feel stronger, more connected and more in tune with your body in every session.
Ricky
Ricky Jinks brings a creative and holistic dimension to The Nook. With over 12 years in the dance industry, Ricky’s career spans performance, choreography, and coaching—with credits including Rita Ora, Caity Baser, Matthew Morrison, Pixie Lott, Kylie Minogue, and more. His choreography has graced international stages, fashion weeks, and major productions, earning him multiple awards including Group Choreographer of the Year 2019.
As the founder of Company Jinks, a professional dance company with over 500 members, Ricky’s work celebrates connection, creativity, and expression through movement.
Beyond dance, Ricky is deeply involved in the world of healing and personal growth. Certified in yoga, breathwork, shamanic energy healing, somatic trauma therapy, and coaching, he integrates these practices to support a holistic approach to wellness. Currently pursuing a Master’s in Consciousness, Spirituality & Transpersonal Psychology, Ricky’s focus lies in helping others reconnect mind, body, and spirit through movement and mindfulness.
